FAQS

HOW DO I KNOW IF THE CRYOCORRECT TREATMENT IS RIGHT FOR ME?

A CryoCorrect Treatment can help men and women remove stubborn age spots and sun spots that remain after completing a series of facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or laser treatments. Before receiving a CryoCorrect Treatment, your skincare provider should individually evaluate if you are an appropriate candidate for treatment.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING AND AFTER A CRYOCORRECT TREATMENT?

During treatment, age spots, sun spots, and skin tags are removed using a precise flow of carbon dioxide (CO2) which freezes the skin at a milder temperature than traditional cryogens like liquid nitrogen, resulting in a softer, shallower, more comfortable freeze, more likely to leave the surrounding skin intact.

The spot or skin tag is quickly frozen for 5-8 seconds, with little-to-no downtime and minimal discomfort to follow. Consult your skincare professional to determine if a CryoCorrect Treatment is right for you.

HOW MANY CRYOCORRECT TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED TO SEE A RESULT?

Results can be seen in as little as 1 treatment, with healthy skin typically appearing 2-3 weeks after treatment. In some cases, the healing process varies between 4-12 weeks.

*PROTOCOL: 4–6 week study, on 72 women, ages 35–65, Fitzpatrick I–III. Subjects were divided into two cells depending on the skin lesion, dark spot (hand or face), or skin tag (body). Subjects received one treatment from the CryoCorrect PRECISION device to the skin lesion from a medical professional. Subjects applied Phloretin CF once daily to the investigated area for 4 or 6 weeks depending on the cell.

SHOULD I INCORPORATE AN AT-HOME SKINCARE REGIMEN?

It is recommended to incorporate an at-home skincare regimen after CryoCorrect Treatment. Applying Phloretin CF® post-treatment has been shown to significantly improve skin smoothness and general appearance of the treated area at week 1 compared to CO2 alone. Follow with PSheer Physical UV Defense SPF 50 to help protect the skin from future discoloration.

Always consult with your physician for individual at-home advice.

WHERE SHOULD I GET CRYOCORRECT?

Cryotherapy should always be performed by a licensed skincare professional. Please consult with your physician to learn more about Cryotherapy and the CryoCorrect Treatment.
