Environmental aggressors are skin irritants such as sunlight, air pollution, or metals. These aggressors form damaging free radicals that cause oxidative stress and accelerate visible signs of aging. Our Formulation Superiority

Discovered through the research done by our founder Dr. Pinnell, the Duke Antioxidant patent outlines the parameters required for effective delivery of vitamin C to the skin:

Pure l-ascorbic acid (vitamin C);
An acidic pH within the 2.0-3.5 pH range
10-20% concentration

Why does C E Ferulic® formula get darker over time?

Vitamin C oxidizes gradually when exposed light, air, and water in the formula. All SkinCeuticals antioxidant formulations have been tested in final packaging and have been confirmed to remain stable and effective for 30-36 months, and up to 6 months after opening. Vitamin C serums may discolor with time, but oxidation is minimal and the formulation is proven to remain effective.

Can I use C E Ferulic® under my eyes?

Can I use C E Ferulic® with retinol?

You can use C E Ferulic^® with retinol. Vitamin C antioxidants should be used in the morning, and retinol in the evening, unless otherwise directed by your skincare professional. Always use a broad spectrum sunscreen to protect skin from UV-induced signs of aging and sensitivity to sunlight resulting from retinol use.

Does C E Ferulic® cause peeling?

While rare, first time users of C E Ferulic^® may experience light peeling. If you are a new vitamin C user, apply a small amount to a patch of skin in a discrete area and wait 24 hours before applying the product on your face. After 24 hours, you will be able to see how your skin responds.
